I think I failed to participate in this thread back when it was created, so I will do it now.

I'm a designer/writer/photographer/daytrader. in the past I've managed advertising for a small company, plus worked together for a while with an ad agency, as well as a few other jobs. right now I work solo and do various consulting jobs and other things hard to classify. as a kid I wrote my name backwards. I've always had somewhat of an interest in clothing. my background is in streetwear, but my interests started shifting more towards fashion at some point and now my mother-in-law says I dress an awfully lot in black. oh and my name is not mike even though many seem to think so, I don't know why.

I'm from the chicago suburbs in illinois...
I got into men's fashion around 2001-2002....
Have way too many designer clothes (my wife gets PISSED!) and buy all the time....
Tried to be a hobby seller (2-3 items a month) selling some of my personal pieces on ebay.....
got scammed so I'm done with that...

speaking of viridi, i'm in shanghai now. what are the odds of me bumping into him or random/badseeds/realmyth83 (i think he's in shanghai?) .... based on the steez of most passerbys on the street, i think they would be hard to miss in a crowd. Then again, this is a big fucking city.

i've been reading here for a long time but now i felt it would be the right time to contribute to this forum. first of all, yes, i am also a guy from germany and a friend from noerml, but i really dislike the so called "eurotrash". i study mechanical engineering in munich.

i'm into "fashion", well, since ever, but as i was a teenager i wore street style and about 5 years ago it changed into the real fashion.

my favourite brands are ann demeulemeester, rick owens, julius, annhagen and were dior homme under hedi slimane and number (n)ine at it's "dark times" :)

so, well, don't know what else to say and i'm looking forward to a good collaboration :)
