Howdy folks... I guess after being a lurker for over a year and just finally getting active in the last few months I should probably introduce myself officially.

Hi, my name is #### and I am an alcho.... I mean design student (for about another year... :/) I'm originally from Wisconsin, then relocated to Oregon, then finally to NYC (that's the condensed version... it happened in 14 moves...)

I got into Fashion the long odd way via theater/performance art and am most inspired by music. I have a degree in Menswear and working on a BFA in Womenswear blah blah blah. I'll post some pictures in the student work section when I get off my lazy arse...

Oh yeah; favorite designers are as follows: Early (Robert Geller Era) Cloak, Ann D, CCP, Haider Ackerman, every other season of Undercover, etc etc....

Hello everyone. I just registered after lurking here for months, but I never pulled the trigger because my aesthetic and silhouette are not at all what you all gravitate towards. In fact, some of my favourite designers are the most hated by this forum . Anyway, I finally decided to join because you have created a constructive environment based on similar preferences, and really seem like friends. The cohesion is laudable.

So I go to school in Boston and live in New York (as of recently). I became interested in fashion in 2006 when a friend subtly pointed out to me that I dressed like total shite. I probably still dress like shite, or at least that's probably what I'll think five years from now, but hopefully not total shite. Looking forward to talking shop with all of you.
