Hope, Casem? Yes, I am very optimistic, thank you. [75]

    Why? Being anti friendship with arguments; Not pretentious charm, has ironically made me all my Bff'(s}
There is a comfort; In knowing people will always be there for you, when going through a hard time.

                  Re: Introduce Yourself

Word, I understand. I'm a fan too, I've got an awesome 5th grade class photo of myself with long blond hair and a Nirvana shirt with the cover of Incesticide on it. It's just part of my personality/philosphy that I feel no real emotional connection to celebreties/public figures. Do I remember where I was when he died and was I sad? Of course. But did it really effect my life in any meaningful way? No.

I also remember, very vividly, but could not quite put whatever it was I felt into words. Pnod is a hard act to follow.

                                Re: Introduce Yourself

My name is Spencer, and I am located just outside of Washington DC. I'm
32 and run my own window & door company. I actually became
interested in fashion around late '03 after I dropped 70 pounds. (I'm
6'1" and went from a 40 waist to a 30 in one year!) Since I was heavy,
finding clothes to mask my size was easy. And obviously at the time, my
look wasn't all that important, so the cheaper the better. Once I
finally got to my comfortable weight, I went slim fitting. Waaaay slim.
It's only in the past year or so that I've felt comfortable buying
looser fitting clothing without thinking that I looked fat. Hey, it's a
work in progress. Anyway, long story short, I ended up at the Dior MSN
forum and my interest in higher fashion grew from there. I don't post
here much, but I read almost daily, and am most definitely hooked. The
wealth of fashion knowledge that SZ provides has been invaluable. While
I learn more and more every day, I'm still not a very fashionable
person as I tend to gravitate towards jeans and a tee, but I do enjoy
mixing in a nicer piece here and there.

And lastly, my wardrobe is 95% black.

Still working on that other 5%.
