I second lowrey's motion. If you can get the "industrial" 500g tins of Dylon, even better. It is a composition of several black dyes that work on both plant (cotton, ramie) and animal (silk, wool) fibres. Some heat is required to get the animal fibres fully dyed though (and also to get full dissolution of the dye itself). Also see here for thorough directions.

Outside of second-hand markets, where is the cheapest place to get Guidi backzips? Would prefer some kind of horse leather but wouldn't mind something else. I'm in the US so I imagine EU stores that deduct VAT? What about Asian retailers?

Best way is ln-cc when they include guidis for their sale. This happens occasionally, but sometimes they remove it right afterwards. And yes, they deduct VAT, please check their customs invoice policy or ask them directly, you could be hit by US import tax.

I guess they don't stock Guidi anymore, or am I wrong?

                            Try Hide-M, or H.lorenzo?

Farfetch is another option. They include duties and tax in their prices so there are no surprises. I've ordered through them a few times and haven't had any problems.

I am not sure. They remove the brand out of their Brands tab as they run out of stock but they can add it back later. This happened with Individual Sentiments there before.
