Hello All,

Please forgive the newbie question - I'm still navigating the protocol of this forum - but I've noticed that there seems to be two styles of Ramones: one with seven rows of lacing and another with eight rows of lacing. I also understand that there is a mainline Ramones model and a DRKSHDW Ramones model. Can anyone tell me how to distinguish the difference? Are the rows of eyelets one method?

Additionally, on the insole & sole, for the mainline ones you will find the "Rick Owens" logo and for the DRKSHDWs you will find the "DRKSDHW" logo. The mainline box is the traditional black with the dustbag, the DRKSDHW box is colour "cardboard" without dustbag, again, each one with the respective logos. The construction of the DRKSHDWs (at least in the models I have seen) looks with "a little bit" less quality.

quality seems about the same besides the change in fabrics. zipper taping is leather, the rest is unlined. mainline is 7 eyelet, drkshdw is 8. also:

besides the obvious the drkshdw's fit a bit snugger, the insole is removable instead of been a glued half insole, the toe cap is slightly larger, and the tongue is longer.

Just got some acne black ace jeans and they are a bit too long. Would it be foolish to just cut them to desired lentgh and leave the hem raw? thx

yes, i dont think thats their aesthetic. ricks and julius and the like can be left raw because of the rest of the details in the jean. return them or tuck them

i had a pair of black APC jeans that i unhemmed a la drkshdw and it looked great and i wore them for daily beater use for quite a while. i also had them tapered to like an 18cm hem. so even though with the unhemming they had a 36-37" inseam they stacked nicely due to the narrow calf. go for it man. u can't lose at that price...

Is there a specific name for this Rick leather jacket? I know there is the scuba, stooges, intarsia etc... But I don't know the name for this jacket and it's the one I want.
