If anyone has the BBS Bamba 1 from SS14, did you go true to size or size 1 up? And if you did go true to size, was there a harsh break in period?

I am in BBS a true S, but sometimes for his pants I need an M depending on model, my waist size is 30-32. I have P13 which is an S but is too tight for me, question is: does the P13 fit about 1 or 2 sizes smaller every season? will a P13 in L fit me?
