only issue ive had with my bambas is how narrow they are so be aware to size up.

Also the sole wears down pretty fast but besides that everything is pretty good

Quoting this for posterity - if you're spending that much on sneakers, it'll pay off to have a rubber sole added to the bottom as the sole is inevitably the first thing to go. Doubly so if they're Rick Owens as those seem to dissolve within a week upon contact with pavement

Crepe sole is easily replaceable once it gets worn down:

Sneaker cost and durability can be graphed to look like a huge spike

At the double low end is 99 cent store shoes, high durability compared to cost is stuff like Adidas and Common Projects, and high price and low durability includes BBS and sometimes geobaskets.

I just find it a bit ludicrous that I can just pop on a pair of 50€ sneakers and that's it but when I spend a stack I need to have a strategy how to uphold the sole from the first day onwards.

            Serious first world problems.

current/recent seasons' rick sneaks have a very durable rubber in the soles.

Be careful you don't scuff or snag the leather anywhere as it will start to peel pretty easily.

Heel started chipping after a week of use...

from my point of view - snag/scuff leather looks much pretier for this case ..... but sole - yeah its sucks...

Only the top layer is broken so it's okay for now. Need to glue some heel taps on the soles though...
