    My favourite painting ever is (boringly) le bassin aux nympheas, should I mention something that is local I enjoy lots of work by P.S. Krĝyer, for instance "Marie i haven" (Marie in the garden) shown below.
    I do not recognise the vessel,
    but the eyes seem so familiar

    Zdzisław Beksiński, one of my absolute favorites. Pretty much everything he put out during this period is amazing.

    Absolutely agreed. I went to an exhibition of his works not long ago and it was amazing. I strongly recommend anyone not to miss out if you'll have the chance somehow.
