Just returned from rock temple PARADISO here in Amsterdam where I witnessed both live performances by Citizen Cope and Wolf Parade.

The latter was a bunch of shit, Citizen Cope was an accoustic performance which was fantastic (man this guy has a fantastic voice, only he seemed super stoned:)

Just started the first season of Dexter. I hate starting on new shows as I get hooked too easily, but I've been told 1135 times that it's awesome and I must watch it. I do like the fact that it's only 12 episode seasons, and I can go at my own pace with dvd's. Maybe this can take the spot on my roster with the soon to be ending Battlestar Galactica. Assuming of course it is in fact awesome.

Yeah, it was shot in Hanoi. I went to the premiere for this and some other of his videos, and I haven't been able to get it off my mind since. I love the feel-good vibe of the video

Spencer, you won't be disappointed with Dexter. Not at all.

I kinda fell off with Battlestar halfway through the season when they were enslaved on the planet. Not sure if/when I'll pick it up again to catch up. Is it worth it?

Dexter is the absolute shit. violence, great storyline and character development, mix in a little nudity... what else could you want!

I may have to hit that show up soon. Seeing Lance Reddick on Fringe (based out of Harvard/Boston wooo! although they often shoot the cafeteria building as the outside of the lab which is hilarious) reminded me of that show.

I watched this video online yesterday on stileproject.com (NOT work friendly) of a guy filming himself putting a pickle jar up his bum but then it breaks...inside... then he tries to remove all the pieces... and yeah... one of the craziest videos I've ever seen. Ever.

.... then I e-mailed it to my friends and made them watch it too.

Figured I'd make moves to get some fresh hair from the listening thread, if only to ensure SZ that I have semifunctional eyeballz (fer real, they don't work all that well).

Just watched Dirty Pretty Things and more or less enjoyed it.

Currently slogging through the tail end of the series Northern Exposure, which is something like the anti-SZ in terms of attention to style and aesthetic, but what the hell, I'm down w/ Chris Stevens.

... sometime this week finally hunkering down for Inland Empire, it's been at home from Netflix for a couple weeks now but have not had the time+inclination quite yet...

and a special thanks for everybody that was listing documentaries recently. I just spent about 45 minutes carefully interspersing them with my backlogged netflix queue.
I think they're easily the number one punk item.

I'm almost finished with season 1. Yup, it's awesome. I'm having a hard time trying to keep from spoiling seasons 2 and 3 though. Mainly because I'm a dope and can't resist looking. But so far so good.

Of course I think it's worth it because I love the show, but if you've made it that far into the series and still gave up, I just don't know. Although there's really not that much for you to catch up on really. Episode numbers wise. The first half of this final season was fantastic tv, and I expect the final 10 to be up to snuff!
