There's no pattern to internships being paid or unpaid from what I can tell. The ones I have taken have ranged from unpaid to $32/hr. Some that pay a fixed amount end up paying better than the even. Like most things, it's complicated.

Unrelated note, a friend of mine is in a show on broadway. http://www.aviewfromthebridgeonbroadway.com/

Hah, no. My friend was the understudy for Santino Fontana (playing Rodolpho). Fontana injured his arm and withdrew IIRC.

Thanks very much all of you.
          I will definitely try Craigslist.
Any advice is welcome and no suggestion is obvious, since i don't live in the US so i don't know the usual procedure.

A friend in London just bought a dress from them.

Her: "Don't you love their stuff?"
Me: "Depending on who they are ripping off at the moment."

A friend who works at L'Eclaireur told me he used to come into the store, wearing Rick, CCP, etc... and laugh about what he was going to rip off next!

Who's he? Is there just a single person who does the 'designing' for All Saints?
                      Suede is too Gucci.

yea the "designer". he basically knocks off whatever he wears, mixing a bit of eurotrash and highstreet into it.

must be working out for quite well for him though if they're opening a new store.

I went to the All Saint store in the SOHO area in London 2 weeks ago and it didn't have much interesting selections to offer after the New Years except. The friendly female SA that works downstairs in the Men's department was the only highlight from that experience.

They have an All Saint store on Robertson Blvd. here in Los Angeles if anyone cares to know. Its something I would never wear but I'm sure others my disagree.

You can't rip off quality. So, exactly.
