    Hi guys,

I'm heading to NYC with my girlfriend in a couple of weeks, first time we've been, and apart from checking out Atelier and hitting the place in Brooklyn featured on Man v Food where they do the 'double dip' sandwich (I love my food), and of course the usual tourist stuff, I wondered if anyone had suggestions of what we could get up to? Open to any suggestions or weird/wonderful/quirky things to do, also:

Interesting/reasonably priced places to eat - we're considering that place run by Susur Lee maybe but welcome any suggestions, I'll have a read through this thread at work tomorrow as there are a tonne of suggestions?

Cool/reasonably priced bars - both quite like a bit of house/chillout music, cocktails always good, places to chill out and maybe shake our thangs a bit etc - again will read through previous posts but any suggestions would be great.

She is into vintage shops, any suggestions much appreciated

Other than that just cool things to experience that anyone can suggest.

I will happily repay the favour with any advice should any sz'ers be heading to Wales...

I love Assouline's shop in The Plaza. And Ursus Books (close to Gagosian & Met) has a great amount of new/rare art books. I would caution you to only go in if you have a lot of time as it can, like Strand, suck up an entire afternoon/day.

uh-oh: Didja just pay full retail on a Eikoh Hosoe/Daido Moriyama shopping spree?
You're the one that reminded me to mention the place here with your Kinokuniya post actually.-Love that place too.
