Paris taxi drivers are the biggest rip offs in Paris............

I will gave to take the taxi and i'm certainly not looking forward to it

Not at all!!!
I dunno how much you Yankees pay for cabs but from a Finn's perspective the fees are low in Paris.
(I do not like the annoying chitchat but that can be dealt with a pair of headphones)
The only problem is that there aren't that many cabs! Now that's a problem especially during the later hours.

tell me about it. last witer, I had to walk all the way from la fidélité to saint michel under the snow at 3am without coming across a silngle free cab. We didn't even see one in the distance in all that time. not a good memory that brrr
