so i was talking to the doorman at a friend's really fancy pre-war apartment building. he says if they go on strike, all the tennants will have to take over working 2-hour shifts.
this includes manning the manual elevators in the building. yeah, all 4 elevators in 2 hour shifts, 24 hours a day. lol..
these are the kind of elevators that have pulls. so you need a steady hand to get the elevator to match the floors. they let me try operating it once. hard as fuck...Comment
