    Berlin was fantastic
I can't say much about the local gastronomy as we've been mostly eating on the go (breakfast at Adlon was really nice though).
If you're reading this and you were part of the crowd cheering the runners, thanks a million times, I couldn't have done it otherwise

They closed in early spring, or around that time.
They had a huge clearance sale in February.

While I agree with that quote in trentk's post, I would like to know only for this coming weekend, what else is going on in Berlin that could be interesting for an ageing post-punk. If nothing, it's just friends and food for me, which is a lot already.

That's too bad, had a great selection when I was there a few years ago. I was looking forward to another visit.

No problem. This event happens every Monday as well. It was enjoyable the one time I went a couple years ago.

I've never been there in my 150+ visits for a reason. But thanks.

ops... I'm just come back so maybe I was too enthusiastic

Anyway, if anyone's in Berlin, owns a fridge and needs some good beer, he could go there:

Berliner Bier Shop (quite near to Darklands btw)

BierLieb (opened last month, in F'shain)

No lambic in sight, but we've found some good stouts, porters & ipas.

Haha, no offense. It's just not my cup of tea and concerning party times, I'm a boring nightclubber.

Thanks for the input guys, my 40 hours stay is pretty busy now, despite my shopping prohibition.

Frank Leder added a shop to his showroom at Kantstraße: clothing, oil, shampoo ...

And as I can't find any opening times on his website:
