    I know you were talking about specific scenes, but I haven't ever had a score resonate with me the way Johnny Greenwood's incredible score for "There Will Be Blood" did.

    I mean just pick any scene: the dissonance and spare strings are just as vital to that film as Day-Lewis's remarkable acting.

    yes, i listened to that soundtrack the other day...incredible, and yes somehow i had forgotton this film

    1) magic flute sequence in bergman's hour of the wolf (violently abridged):



    2) bela lugosi's dead sequence from grandrieux's sombre. I'd actually prefer to include the weird rockabilliy alan vega tune / fucking in the car headlights sequence, but couldn't find the footage. brilliant movie.
