You got a pic of that, Boots?

I don't think I've ever seen a full pic of Jun, I don't even know what the guy wears/looks like.

        For real?

There's pics of him everywhere. Here's one of him with Takeji Hirakawa.

He used to look exactly like that with chest length jet black hair, but that's another story.

Yeah I guess it makes sense, the brand and its store concepts have changed quite a bit since the days of Languid...I still remember a cool photo of his personal workshop/atelier that was all decked out in iconoclastic symbols, from which I remember a "FUCK BUSH" sticker.

Days of being wild...this was i think around the same time Taka for N(N) was coming out with real angry, slashed 'fuck you' t-shirts and tees with print of burning American flag

Oh, ok I sent him this interview but I think it was after he posted it. Should have looked.

BTW Mekas is a pretty good online mag and so is Le pli.

Wow, I love those street shots of Raf, he looks really good. It's cool to see him rocking his own creations looking so elegant. It may have ruined his main line, but Raf for Jil Sander has to be one of the most successful replacements after the eponymous designer left the house. I love Jil herself, but Raf has turned out to be such a great fit, as evidenced by how natural he looks in his Jil clothes.

I was going to add to the earlier discussion on sticking out, the difficulty/ease of it etc. but much of what I was going to say was said and I don't want to add to the diversion here. Maybe it deserves it's own thread, how we craft our identity and the potential consequences of bucking the herd...
