^I don't see any evidence either. Again when did we leave the comfort zone?

Fuuma, no one in denial, even Heirloom isn't, he might got carried away, but that's was understandable in the luc tunic debate. A wish for thought to be carried elsewhere, not the same as denial. I explained this in the Raf Simons thread.

For, Rick Owens, you're reading things into my posts, which are not there. There're nowhere I said that he's all hype, and no, ironically, I wouldn't know about these celebs if it wasn't because they were posted here. But they are part of the process, so is Eastpack, Nick Knight, Selfstaging, etc. making it all the more streamlined.

We might be witnessing a new "Raf Simons" in the making,
but one that is tuned in to Hollywood!

Are you afraid of women, Doctor?
    Of course.

I'm thinking of getting one of those (the suit or one of the trenches), what's your opinion on that:

Get the black trench or the suit jacket, the full patent polygon suit would be too much glam. I'd vote for the suit jacket.

Fuuma, I prefer the suit for you. That shoulder construction is the best thing in the show, imo. Also, I think the trenches will totally overwhelm you, which I know you don't like.

I think the suit will work best on you, but with those amazing shoulders you won't be able to layer it under a coat, which you like.

Here is a small article about his show and a short video that was pretty cool.

Gareth Pugh talks about coming full circle with his first men's collection backstage at Paris Menswear Fashion Week.

is it just me or has anybody else noticed that he "borrowed" a few ideas from rick?

I suppose, if you decide to knit pick, you can point those few things out. But I don't see nearly enough of Rick's influence to condemn this as derivative. I think it's a good collection in creative terms.

To be fair Rick also borrowed from Pugh this season.
