i dont know what to say, faust. this is my first sight of this designer and i am stunned and speechless. I feel like this stuff gives a new meaning to the world transcendent. it just... has so many more dimensions than the stuff we see today. i love all the black "SZ brands and designers" to death but when i see stuff like this it feels like i've stumbled upon a new colour or dimension and its so subtle i cant even find words to describe what it looks like or what i like about it. Where can one see such creativity in the industry today?

Bizarre story: his brand died on 9/11 due to the plane with his collection not being allowed to board in NY. Also loads of other great quotes:
"I was too young and made too many mistakes. I got offered licenses and deals but refused them, wanting to do it like Dries did. I said “no, Dries also doesn’t do licenses either”. That was bullshit, maybe I should have taken those chances. But then again, I was young and well… you learn those things afterwards – don’t you?"

So earlier this month Jurgi showed a small capsule collection in collaboration with Dust Magazine at The Broken Arm in Paris. Most of what was included can be seen here.
Dust's first capsule was with Peter De Potter and it's an ongoing series, so this is probably a one time thing. Jurgi did create an instagram a little over a week ago so of course there's a part of me hoping he's testing the waters.Originally posted by gregorComment
