Last weekend someone called me a fag from behind. all I was wearing were my skinny jeans/obedient sons blazer/ acne shirt/ white hi-tops... could have been a lot "worse" O___o I ignored and went ahead but later kind of thought I should have put my blazer aside and gone back to get some action.. then again have to say good I didn't.

Makes me think of RO talking about clothes and male dignity

In my experience, African American men and most women are more likely to comment positively than high school kids and preps. I always get compliments on my purses and shoes, black dudes saying "Ni**ah, you look fly, on the real." Gets me every time.

last night, a young 'trendy hk' couple -

girl: "that guy always looks like he's wearing really trendy clothes"
boy: "but his face doesn't look trendy at all"
girl: "yeah i know, but he likes to wear those really loose pants swishing around."

Today I was wearing the N(N) toggle vest in beige and pearl RO l/s and drop crotch sweats with a beanie, and I got some interesting reactions from people in my classes:
"Hi Pocahantis!" (sorry if I spelled that wrong)
"Yo, what are you, a pirate?"
              Things like that

Just remembered a year or two ago I was in a Starbucks in CT wearing a navy jacket and black jeans, and this guy asked me what funeral I just came from. Ugh.

What the hell do people expect when they walk out in the suburbs in drop crotch pants.

                shit looks ridiculous.

And going to the mallz of america in rick owens and julius? Lololol.

A girl once told me she liked my bless coat. and thats it.

LOL me too. Once someone asked where I got my Bless hoodcoat and I told them JCrew.

i've gotten random stuff from "are you a poet?" to "you look like a ninja" to my personal favorite..

"WOW that cardigan is so COOL! where'd you get it? Gap?" ...it was from Margiela

For the most part its OK,considering I live in a city where Topman/H+M are 'fashion forward'.
People nearly break their necks looking at me going to college, which is fine considering its an extremely rough area and the average uniform is a tracksuit with a mandatory can of cider in hand.
My DIY haircuts get ALLL the attention though. Its split between adoration - stupid ''MORRISSEY'' chants - and confusion.

                      PS: I dont like Morrissey.

hahaha, this is hilarious. the translation probably made it more funny that it really is though.

+1 on the bless hood coat. it gets a lot of compliments.

About CCP leather jackets in general, I get asked : "is this made of plastic ?"

                              Depends on where you live..
But in Cph, people actually like it when you differentiate urself(e.g;NN skirt)..
Just as long as you can put it off..

I don't think positive reactions count in this thread, or am I missing something?
