personally, the baby calf is too delicate for my tastes, so i would go with the horse.
      Not tried donkey before.

What about kangaroo? Some of the SS2010 styles will come in that.

I don't have a link, but I just purchased the purple derby from the same place!

And yes, those Guidi interlaced leather boots above are very unattractive...

from an aesthetic standpoint, i think most here (as well as I) prefer the backzip over the sidezip. however, from a construction standpoint, i prefer the sidezips over the backzips...

on the backzips the zipper vertically divides the "heel cap" into two pieces resulting in a less than snug fit.. also, over time, the zipper has a tendency to rub on the back of my feet/heel which can get uncomfortable over time.

                just my two cents

                  pinoy perfectly said

honestly backzips always grabbed me at first but after experience i would chose a side zip as for the reasons stated above.
If you are looking for a tight boot then a side zip is far better, for the best of both carol and avantindietro do a spiral obviously.

Not sure exactly how the higher boots "really" are, but any of the footwear can be made with the taller heal.

my size 42 tall back zips are about 35cm in height not including the heel. the model number of the mens low heel tall back zips is 989, the womens high heel model is 789.

I didn't know you had Guidis D. Any pics?

I'm more of a fan of the side zips to be honest, so if anyone sees any in horse sz 46 let me know....

only the crappy snap I took after I received them:

baby calf leather tall back zips.

btw if anyone else has any issues with the potency of the leather smell Marco's advise was to air them outside overnight. did this (in a safe spot under cover of course) on and off for about a week, after which they smelt neutral enough to migrate into my wardrobe.
