Attachment (both mainline and Kazuyuki Kumagai) use Guidi leather for some pieces.

I've read claims that InAisce footwear is made from Guidi leather but can't confirm.

            Re-Soling Guidis...

            Hey everyone,

My wife took in my Guidis to get heel taps on them and some random cobbler insisted that he put on protective coverings. Despite her saying that they have to be really thin, the old fool put 1/2 inch plastic covers on them and shaved down the sides of the leather soles (?!). He basically ruined them.

Does anyone know a cobbler in the U.S. who might be able to re-sole these in a way that approximates the original Guidi sole? I'd really appreciate it...

the guidi clinic at atelier was a really neat opportunity to ask a bunch of questions about the leather and construction and allowed buyers unprecedented access to the line sheets to see all the available styles and leathers. it was interesting to see the different colors: for example the black and black-brown and gray-black which are all listed as black by retailers as well as the possibilities of reversing all the different leathers. the prices were really good too and surprisingly comparable to special ordering from europe plus shipping and duties except with the full range of options. they're taking orders till the 23rd so there's still time to take advantage of the offer. and they have a full range of ladies styles.

I agree. It is a great opportunity to get exactly what you want, without second guessing, and to avoid the vagaries of remote shopping.

Cheers for the video tron, it was absolutely excellent. The photography, music, and effects...boom *headshot*.

Guidi leather is indeed whored out among many of the designers discussed on this forum. Can anybody confirm if M.A.+ actually uses Guidi leather?

Maybe because Guidi is is too 'rock' for L'E...=?

Anyone has some photos of the event in A. NY ?

                      Tnx

Not sure, they sell it quite a few of their shops, in particular @ Hérold.

Not sure if this has been posted...a quick blog-post by what appears to be an all-things-italy blog:

My friend Shan has a shop in Brisbane called Camargue that stocks wonderful labels from all over the world. As well as beautiful clothes from Easton Pearson, Dries Van Noten, Nom D and many others …
