Would anyone have any suggestions on places to find a decent selection of (or any) Guidi boots around Paris or Amsterdam?

I heard it may be looking pretty bleak for Guidi in Paris...

There is a stocklist on Guidi website. What does your last statement mean?

Yes I was looking at the stock list, also some stuff in the netherlands on there I'll probably check out, but I was just hoping some locals might be able to chime in with a little more of an idea.

Sorry that last statement was a bit cryptic, I had asked Mikelowry about it because he had some stuff tagged on the worldwide shopping map in Paris, but he only knew of one place that carried Guidi and didn't think they had much stock last time he was there.... so bleak as in it sounded like my chances of finding some there were pretty bleak.

People of the Labyrinths had about four or five styles of boots when I was in AMS in March.

That was the one ML was talking about, I'll definitely check it out when I'm there.

                      RIP Shimji
                      Case closed.

Besides, it seems that they weren't stocking Guidi any more since more than a year.

correct. didn't know they closed though, but not a huge surprise. the store had a nice vibe but was always empty, and the aesthetic they were moving towards was a bit unclear.

Yes, but the owner was - well, is still, I guess- super nice and helpful, she was stocking Morishita and she had some AMAZING women pieces.
Don't know if there was a clearout sale because I left Paris for some time now, but if so, incredible deals have been made !

Funny, I was looking for the store 2 days ago and I was like "wtf, where is this stupid fucking store!?! Damn you google map" and scoured the entire block several times; got bored and ended up going to rue des rosiers for a killer falafel. I believe they got replaced by one of those comme des garcons black setups.

I've still yet to see a pair of guidis with my own eyes. Can't believe nobody stocks them at all in town now... c'mon eclaireur, be more better.

                              Exactly.

SZers should overwhelm rue Herold with mails requesting Guidis, maybe it would work

POTL basically just carries their own line, plus Guidi. I went there when in AMS specifically because they were listed as a stockist and I was curious what they might have. BTW, the Guidis were quite expensive, as I recall (~1400 Euro for an interesting pole-climber boot, ~1200 Euro for backzips).
