Yes, and he also dyed the laces. Unfortunately when i got them back i realised they were too small (sold as 42, but they were 41..) so they are now on bsr's feet

let's say i want a cap added to a pair of shoes / boots
would it be hard for a cobbler to add?

is it possible to get a "toebox"/front part of a pair of boot replaced ? by replaced, i mean to cut if off and get new one added?

the entire upper is usually welted into the sole in some way, so it sounds like quite a process to deconstruct all of it. also, you'd need to find matching leather to do this, and unless its already some sort of a two piece construction, a seam would need to be added onto the toebox and chances of this looking very good seem slim to me.

I just want to get the front part covered from a pair of (peeptoe) wedges to make them a pair of closed boots. and those wedges will be worn alot, so i dont mind if the front part doesnt stay round or boxy-ish (if we follow the angles of the soles) (dont mind if it get a bit deformed)

No complaints on this product. Haven't had to use it much though.

Is there a method how to keep the massive creases on the toe of CCP derbies? I guess they gonna fade away after wear since the toe box might come down a bit...

Is this happening with yours, or is it just something you think will? I have not experienced it with any of mine.

not sure about that, it´s just when I wear them the toe box comes down a bit due to the natural curvature and from my perspective it seems the creases get flattened... not sure if this happened to anybody else. I am just wondering if a cobbler could somehow fasten the toe box?

^ that wouldn't be too ergonomic though?

                          CCP New Style Soles

Has anyone put vibrams on their new style derby or boots? Because of the toe and heel coverings I was wondering if it makes sense to cover/protect the rest of the sole.

                            MA+ Boot Stretching

                            NEED HELP...

I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on a pair of MA+ lace up boots...They're quite narrow in width and I was wondering if anyone has had experience with having a cobbler stretch out the width in a pair of boots...I'm guessing they'll have to be stretched approx 1 size up...

I was thinking about going up one size, but they'd just be too big length wise at that point.

                            Thanks

Width is easy and can be done.

do you think i'm pushing it by increasing the width by a full size?...
