I'm in agreement with much of what has been said.
I've said this before about him, which is that you could pull one thing from 2002 and one from 2009 and not really know which was which. Even with somebody like Yohji, who has a very specific silhouette, there nevertheless are interesting ideas going on or themes that change over time or are specific to a narrow set of concerns.
But, again, I don't dislike Barrett's "sameness" as it is an aesthetic that I can wear fairly well, but I just find it all one continuous show that started years ago and is still going on now. With a limited budget or a limited number of "MUST HAVES" each season, I find Barrett never rising to the top of the list.
