I quite like it. I don't want to get into discussions of wearability, but for the lack of a better word this seems like a 'more wearable' extension of his aesthetic. I love all the coats and the last look in the first post is great. I'm not that fond of most of the menswear though.

I recently watched the 2003 show 'fashion house' which is a European show somewhat similar to project runway, and he's on it. It's great to see how consistent his aesthetic has been for 8 years now.

Yeah Robert Carey Williams was also on it.
I remember asking Gareth about that.
He said he regrets doing that show, although at the time he was broke, and was offered 3 months in Rome.
So he thought, fuck it,why the hell not!

just to echo how superior the womens is to the mens.
there is literally not one thing i would wear in there (disco pants are a wtf). lots of great stuff for the ladies though

The women's collection is very elegant and economic, it's unfortunate that the menswear seems more of an afterthought but there are a lot of interesting concepts.

I would like to see the pieces in person.

well i take that back. i would wear this jacket

and in the interest of fairness, the fabrics do appear to be pretty luxurious, at least in the photos. but they are supposed to be, right?

This is the first Pugh collection that I like. It's pretty cool. I am afraid that, for once, he'd outdone his mentor.

My thoughts exactly! I was pleasantly suprised by this collection.
I really like the direction he is taking, and there is even a one or two menswear pieces that i rather like! (shock horror!)
Shall get more feedback after the missus and other friends hit up the showroom on sunday.

Apparently Gazza'a vision for this collection was that of a siren, well an aggressive siren at that.
A strong powerful seductress who chews up men and spits em out into tiny triangles.

                          (well along those lines).

I'm pleasantly surprised. I was expecting some annoying, overdone sci-fiy superstructures. This is rather sober and elegant with still interesting construction. I hate the sheer stripes but apart from this I like most womenswear.

Beautiful, elegant, refined, economical. First Pugh show I love.

Agree it is superior to RO FW '10.
