Yep I like it.. Though it is lacking the "show" that I enjoy seeing for GP usually. It's definitely more wearable than anything he has done lately (solo). Of course his "show" element doesn't compare to say McQueen, but it was enjoyable none the less.

yeah and uh... before that? so all of a sudden your 'impression' and 'interpretation' is fact? i dunno, maybe you should re-read our own posts. hi...?

obviously if pugh were so blatantly ripping off rick they would have no relationship... now before you go typing entire sentances on my keyboard simplest question would be why does rick get more respect than pugh on the forum? and aside from that i don't see rick's current collections being that far removed from his earlier works continuity wise.

haha oh geez. no shit? i'm not sure where i said otherwise. regardless of pugh's contributions to rick's current style, my poorly worded/thought out original point was in the end pugh has pushed rick's original concepts and aesthetic much further than rick himself. this wouldn't be possible with mcqueen, and hasn't been possible with margiela etc etc etc etc etc.

Mass is wise, listen to Mass. "Style" by itself isn't even a valid concept in art/design/literature. It's an artificial attempt to separate things that are one and the same (content vs style). I do believe that Rick has more depth than you give him credit for but that's beside the point. The semi-replicating thing sorta throws me off too.

I quite like the textures. First pugh collection I've warmed up to.
