style numbers/inventory/classification

not sure if this thread will catch on but I sure hope it does

in an effort to rid designer categories of the style number/ inventory/ classification action sleuthing that is resurrecting Easter style on the guidi thread atm and runs rampant throughout ccp, is it possible to dedicate this space to that?
I'm not opposed to this information, as it can be helpful, but it sure does dull the mind

That's a wonderful idea. I always thought the various designer threads were supposed to be dedicated to the theoretical work of said designers, inspirations, construction processes, etc., rather than how much a piece costs, how long to break it in, and the like.

This could prove useful.
Also, a pictoral index format/archive of a designers work would also be rad.
Styleforum has something like that for shoes- something along the lines of that for the designers we speak of here would be amazing.
