    ^^^

I love these meaningful coincidences, they are popping up more and more often nowadays. A sign o' the times?

I liked this show, will probably be looked at later on down the line as a bit of an oddity in his oeuvre, and that may be why...a curious in-between everything presentation featuring some recurrent shapes, it's an enigmatic one for sure.

I am a bit lost on this collection but maybe that's the point.

I really like the 'bootcut' pants. I mean they're not really bootcut, but I lack a better word right now. But I guess they would lose their appeal on my somewhat short legs.
Then again ... Rick also delivers the fitting heels.

i really like the shorts this season.

also, that diamond geometrical print that charles is wearing in that last post seems so 'gareth pugh' to me.

i do love all the graceful and architectural elements of Rick, but i am getting tired of the punk/sport/rock-influences. I just want to remove all the bullshit and keep the core. the monumentality and the shoulders and waist... i want a rick coat :/

i guess since i come from a background without relation to any subculture I find those parts irrelevant and empty. I can only speak from my viewpoint.

                      a background without influence
                      from the underground.
                      outlandish!

this collection is quirky. It's all those influenced elements of Rick nailed down to the vaguest idea without any remotely pintpointable reference other than himself. A postmodern classic, my favorite O in years.

it's not impossible you know. the womens collections have less of those influences, and more shape based garments.

Absolutely true. Have the very same expectation.
And I'd say that Rick - or whoever designs the mens - is moving away from the street/sportswear influences.

I noticed that, and I'm happy he does. I just think it can't go fast enough.
