I visited IF in NYC the other day and they had 2 of these little kid suits. The SA was hesitant but she let me take a picture.

I ended up running a search for Elena's stuff online, yesterday and came across a picture of a toddler in a full outfit of hers. I had only assumed someone had made it for their child, not realizing she was in fact producing some childrens' clothes. It was very, very cute!

Only a person with no children would produce clothing for young kids with frayed, unfinished bits. Young kids will never stop pulling on the frayed fabric and will likely end up chewing on it to potentially dangerous results.

EDITORíS NOTE: THIS ARTICLE WAS ORIGINALLY PUBLISHED IN 2011 IN THE FIRST PRINT ISSUE OF THE SHORT-LIVED SEBASTIAN MAGAZINE FROM LONDONíS HOSTEM BOUTIQUE. I THOUGHT IT DESERVES A WIDER AUDIENCE, SO I DECIDED TO REPRINT IT WITH PERMISSION. I MADE NOMINAL CHANGES, BUT ITS 2011 VERSION, INCLUDING THE IMAGES, IS PRETTY MUCH PRESERVED.
