Yesterday I tried on a summer Gustavo Lins jacket that would reconcile you with longer sleeves, there is a slit that makes cuffing up a very attractive proposition.

PS: BSR - this fit is perfect, I love the sleeve length. Of all the CCP fits here yours always look the most natural and comfortable.

Mail Moth you just inspired me to wear my Aldens today that I haven't worn in something like 2 years, with a fit that probably doesn't correspond too correctly with them but it's what i wore yesterday and don't feel like opening up a new set of clothes. Thank you.

edit - i would actually like to take a pic of this but can't as the digital camera is being repaired, so a throwback text waywt harking back to my days in a dorm room -

YYPH 'Che' jacket worn reversed, baseball jacket style
Gap denim shirt
Uniqlo white v-neck
Dior votc orange overdye jeans
Alden black cordovan laceups.

that probably sounds better from text to thought than it would look in a photo, knowing one of mine will most likely come out awkward anyway lol...

i dont like rick that much but i love the rick draw string. im sure it been noted by rick heads a bunch in the respective thread but its adorable how he makes simple things like big tongues on shoes or a draw string so powerful. its a fucking draw string aha.

Apologies for the internet stalking
haha docus you got a point here: the overlock in the spring-summer version is indeed quite similar to a leather shirt, even if it's considerably more structured than the Carpe/Continues iterations, and therefore, probably more versatile.

thank you and nadir for the kind words

The jacket doesn't look comfortable. would you really wear it zipped all the way up?

It's actually quite comfortable, but no room for a scarf and it's not very comfortable carrying a bag on your shoulder when it's fully zipped.

merz is right, the jacket probably feels perfect. i also have a julius fencing that fits similarly, and the comparison to armor is definitely well-warranted. it looks rather slim fully zipped, but not constricting at all. i think the bag dilemma comes with anything that fits so near to the body, which is why i prefer to lug around a canvas porter boston bag rather than a shoulder bag.

The Julius leather doesn't look too small, but my issue is the way it's bulging away from the body at the bottom.

acm - is that how the julius coat is cut at the back, or is it just a high vent that you're stretching forward?

^The Julius coat has a super high vent in the back (which actually is adjustable by a couple buttons so you can pick your height of it), but on the side seams of the coat, there are these straps that you can pull forward and tie which end up pulling the fabric in the back. The tighter you tie the straps, the more the vent opens.
