I second the thumb of approval. Saw this last month and when it ended, people just slowly exited the theatre very hesitantly, one by one in a sporadically....couples left separately, no one said a word outside and glassy eyes were the norm. So all said and done, maybe not a good first date movie but otherwise not one to skip.

I saw a clip of the making of this a while back. The fact that this man could be revered on a god-like level in one country while remaining completely invisible in his own blew my mind.

Rod is a very humble and great guy. Had the chance to spend some time with him while he was playing here in LA. Pick up the record, Light In The Attic reissued it. Solid vibes.

Late pass but I agree one of the best films I have seen this year!! Very confronting and at times hard to watch but really something special.

Morris (one of the producers) wrote an interesting essay in slate about it.
