Guidi does produce 47, yes. I believe that's the cutoff though.

I'm also searching, heh, that's how I know. Otherwise I'd be out frolicking joyfully in my backzips, instead of sitting here telling you about sizing.

Does Guidi produce size 47 or 48? :X

Any big foots out there own Guidis?
I have a 46 and may consider selling them because they stretched more than I would have liked. It now feels like a 44.5. I am a true 44. and the left zipper is not locking and god knows when the replacement will get in..

I am a 45 in most footwear as well. I have a pair of Guidis in 47 and not to add to the sizing confusion, but I would say they are a touch too long. Next time I'm going to go 46.5.

I don't know if the type of leather plays into the sizing but the box reads, "211, lined, horse full grain boot." Hope that helps.

^ Only a consideration at this point
And it's certainly not an indication that I'm giving up on Guidis...nowhere near that actually.

Me too. Actually one of the reason I bought the Guidis because they do look fantastic with pants tucked in. With my CDiems and other footwear, I put the pant leg over the boot 95% of the time. I do both with Guidi.

I just wanted to share the beautiful colour of my new-ish purchase. I got these in Berlin in January and it took a lot of willpower not to wear them right away, but the snow discoloured the Yohji boots I was wearing at the time, so I didn't want to risk it happening to these beauties, at least not first wear. I can't wait to get another pair. Heeled version next I think.

Side zip Aubergine baby calf. (edit: isn't calf baby by definition?) I had wanted back-zip initially but couldn't resist the colour of these in person. Sized up 1 size.

I wear my side zips both ways, about 3/4 of the time with pants over them. when I tuck my pants in, I wear them partially open as they are really narrow in the shaft.

In the process of putting in a custom order for a bag. Said it would take 20 days for a custom order. Does anyone know the colour code for this Atelier Bag?
