Smash's last couple of looks are good, but keeping in mind the fits and buys posted a couple of months back, there seems to me there is a lack of authenticity, or at least coherence.

I'm in no way against exploring different styles, but the timespan and the kind of money involved makes it a little questionable, to me at least.

I like the combination of long coat and pointy boots. But I think there is too much leather action going on. Smash's coat is spot on, so are the boots, so leather pants would have to go. But very good as it is.

Rock the total leather look. That Obscur coat is brilliant. The leather coats are easily Soderberg's strong point IMO.

It could be that he's just attracted to extravagance, or any other of what could be an infinite number of explanations. A wardrobe's coherence is in the eye of the owner. Besides, in the "How did your style evolve" thread, many other members recalled similar changes to their wardrobes. Give the guy the benefit of the doubt.

@jumpoff - thanks for your opinion, I always appreciate different constructive voices. I like my wardrobe diversify and when I see something that catches my eyes, I just couldn´t help taking´em home (assuming I can pull them off)

I guess the Sissey Pee Boobs need to be broken in before they look good. Or maybe I should reach out for rounder-toed options. Maybe a pair of distressed/roughed shell cordovan Guidi Boots.

Money is not the main issue here and I know it is a dead end. I was just questioning the sudden change, and am interested in the motivation behind this as I can't see how the previous fits are in any way related to what he is wearing now.
