I'm working on a paper about this. Basically I'm arguing that the legitimization of luxury streetwear has led to a slew of changes in high fashion, such as the legitimization of actors, channels, practices, etc. associated with streetwear, hence doma using highsnobiety as a channel for a fashion show. Not sure if it helps or answers your (rhetorical?) question.
