Like this. Everything else: bleh. I hate the inverted silhouettes and balloon like volumes (mostly) displayed. Same problem as the mens really.

This is so much better than the men's, it's not even funny.

Next season, will we see goat sacrifices in the background?

I had the same exact thoughts Jogu.. The headpieces were the very first thing that caught my attention, from the whole collection I want this beanie (?) with holes the most. :) However, I do like the long knit dresses in the beginning because they look rather cozy and feminine but the rest is just, eh.. not for me. Maybe I just need to see it in person.

Edit. I was waiting for lots of blazers like in the mens... where are they?

Edit2. On a second look, I quite like it.. just not the plaid and some of the odd shapes. The beginning of the show still works the best for me but I always think what can I wear from this and what would be "me", so my opinion is strongly influenced by those thoughts.

              this is so good.
(yeah maybe except for the plaid)

“I was thinking of Brutalism — the music very aggressive and the masks on women’s faces, something violent,” the designer said. “We elegantly suppress savage impulses that are speaking to intense emotions, universal and personal.”

Fuck it I even like the plaid. This is incredible and makes the mens shitshow all the more regrettable.

same here. i like the plaid. i like the shapes. i like the footwear (not much new but still, i like it). fabrics look luxe. its still dark, sexy, edgy, etc but to me it is also fun

As opposed to plaid as I am I feel it actually kind of works here. Not something I would ever incorporate in to my own wardrobe but with the cuts and silhouettes used it still feels essentially Rick to me. Again I must agree with you that this outshines the men's show without question.

Yeah so much better than the Men's, but usually when the women's is good that means the next season men's will be good as well. I hated the ss12 women's and the same w/ fw12 mens, so now that fw 12 womens is great that means ss13 men's will be great as well.
It's a very interesting plaid I think, more solid patterns than what I associate w/ plaid, only thing I didn't like was the short short leather jackets.

the show looks intense! the headpieces look almost cultish like they're all on there way to a sacrifice to a heathen god.
i am not crazy about the plaid either but that enflamed wool texture that i am use to seeing in julius collections is cool to see in rick collections. i have to echo faust's sentiment about how much better the womenswear is than the inverted silhouette of the high wasted tap dancing mens collection. the long draping coats almost look too long but i guess when it drags on the ground and forms into tatters it will be considered part of the aesthetic. i really like this collection!
will that high flat boot be produced in mens sizes?
