FS: Jan & Carlos Coat, sz 48

I'm selling a Jan & Carlos coat that people on this board might be interested in; Jan & Carlos don't get much hype, but they're similar to Carpe Diem / LUC in terms of aesthetics. The coat is a heavy black wool with an interesting fastening mechanism: there are two straps on either side of the front of the coat, and the lapels (?) have hooks that connect to the straps.

I'm open to trades, too (if you act before someone bids on ebay); right now, I'm mainly interested in Cloak 04/05 stuff, CCP, and (hold your flames) Thom Browne.

i remember almost getting this off yoox awhile ago. i've never seen their stuff in person- is it really made that well?

It seems to be, yes. The seams are all tight (outer seams are covered), the wool seems to be high quality, and the fasteners are all solid. I have a J&C wool hooded sweater that I've worn for 3 years and it's shown no wear.

Interestingly enough I just saw some of these clothes online tonight and thought how cool they are. This Jacket is BEAUTIFUL! Looks extremely high quality to me. Thanks for posting!

I would say that it's slightly more subtle in real life -- the fabric that covers the seams picked up the flash from my camera a bit more strongly than the wool.
