    Gieves

I am curious about the brand that was launched by Gieves & Hawkes. It looks like very well made stuff that is just the right mix of classic and modern. It's not available in the US, and I was wondering if our British posters had gotten a chance to check it out? I missed a chance to see it when I was in London, but I might be coming back to London in March to visit my friends.

Description from the website (nevermind the whole rebellion nonsense)

The Gieves Autumn Winter '06 collection
offers much that will appeal to the intelligent and globally stylish.
Luxurious, inventive, and exquisitely cut, it draws on the military
& tailoring heritage of Gieves & Hawkes, but in a subtle and
contemporary way. Gieves offers a marriage of craftsmanship with
technology and fuses classicism with modernity.

The hero of our collection is Lord George Byron, a poet, wayward
aristocrat and free spirit. Byron was heroic, impassioned, flamboyant,
amoral and dangerous. He did not merely belong to the European Romantic
    tradition; he personified it.

The collection does not heavily reference the man, but instead
captures the spirit of Byron to provide a wardrobe for today's creative
    non-conformist; confident, elegant, bitter-sweet romantics with a
    rebellious edge.

A coat like this would've been perfect for work.
