My new bike (should be ready early May) will run me around $3.5k, fixed. gonna be awesome. Will update pics when I get a chance. Been commuting on a Redline 9-2-5 for 2 years I believe. Too cheaply made to be maintained as poorly as it has been.

It's an Ira Ryan frame. The price includes frame (lugged), fork (lugged), custom stem (fillet brazed), color matched custom rack, nice parts throughout and the full build up.

It's a single speed commuter bike, I'll ride it 7 days a week for the forseeable future. Seems cheap.

To each his own I suppose, don't much like that griffen.

Mine will be along the lines of a fixed gear version of this, but with drops. It's all mint/silver/black though, without the contrasting lines, and there's no branding on the downtube. In fact, Ira is taking acetone to all branding on brakes/etc, and the only branding anywhere on the bicycle will be a stainless steel swallow on the head tube (and the goddamned branding on the Chris King headset, that shit is unavoidable, but it's that or not have a king headset . . . )

They're cute at first. But, the details are all wrong for a cyclist, and bicycles are not one size fits all, that's just crap. Can't imagine they're any good at all.
