+1, it's like a reversed cardigan, all you need is a cardigan and the will to use it differently. Well good quality leather helps.

I've come across some really thick leather that was too pliable for shoes. What is the typical thickness of leather you use for your projects V? 0.9-1.5?

just ripping off schnabel and his scrapped together tarp/fabric based canvases.
thinking a thin leather, a la ma+ wallet, might work.

Big companies buy yards by the boatload. I just wanted an idea of size. I thought he'd answer less than 10. You can do a lot with 5 yards...

yes... theres a store that selling leather in local but the leather is not the one i am looking for. hopefully can find something like grandma leather
