    homemade wedges

got tired of complaining, gave up the idea of high quality shoes, started making my own.

20 euro wedge sandals, duct tape, old sneakers i hadn't used in 3 years.

cut the straps off, taped the shoe to the wedge. voila!

no glue for the sole. just tape. it works surprisingly well. i didn't wrap many times before it was stuck solid to the sole.

Dude, love your dedication to the medge, but srsly. Take that straight to the WTF thread. Totally feel your pain on the ro quality issue with them but on the design front yours are light years away, no matter how long they may last ( not much longer is my guess).
wish you could get a pair that lasts. My wife can btw.
Hi. I like your necklace. - It's actually a rape whistle, but the whistle part fell off.

sorry for being a buzzkill... I know it's fun, and I know it's mad you went through 3 pairs of £700 shoes... like I said, wish the actual ones worked for you.

i went for a walk in my home made shoes, and could barely walk straight. A thought crossed my mind, as I was trying to find dignity and courage to walk in them amongst strangers. I realised I was being a martyr, but not fighting for religion, but for glamour. There's a real challenge in being made up from head to toe, barely being able to walk, and still remain dignified when tumbling over. You can't not smile. Cause if you dont, falling will be awkward. So these shoes forces me to be a better person to those around me.
