Ann Demeulemeester x Julia Margaret Cameron Long Sleeve Shirt












Clean and austere long sleeve shirt from Ann's FW2005 collection.

Taking the classic long sleeve t-shirt and giving it some tweaks, Ann once again elevated something basic into something subtle yet complex.

The sleeves are a modified raglan with the chest panel finishing at a curved point at the shoulders and the sleeves running up to the neckline. The ultrasoft cotton is provided structural support around the shoulders and neck with a doubled band that runs around the back of the neck.

The sleeve ends and hem are both finished and there is a lovely gentle front-to-back curve along the bottom hem for a clean fit that follows the contours of the body.

The Julia Margaret Cameron print is lightly silkscreened on and appears present but almost ghostly on the front which echoes the aura of her photography and brings a depth to the shirt.

Tagged as a size S, fits a 48-50 well and smaller sizes would be slouchier/oversize.

Made in Belgium (an unfortunate rarity these days)

Shoulder break to cuff- 30"
Underarm to underarm- 19.5”
Total length- 28"

Extremely rare to find these days and especially in great condition.

DRKSHDW single piece body short sleeve shirt Recently picked up from the bay but not quite my style.

As with all Rick pieces, really nice construction and attention to detail. All seams reinforced and restitched (triple stitching around the shoulder seam, double stitching around the collar etc.) with that signature "degraded" collar fabric.

Instead of the asymmetric center back seam, the seam has been moved to cross the front of the chest as a single frenched seam. The hem is a lovely raw edge with the ends offset to create some asymmetry.

Signature double rectangular tags on the center back and the Rick imagery stitched to the inside as well. The DRKSHDW long tag is still present and can be removed easily with a seam ripper without damaging the remainder of the shirt.

Fits a size 50

Measurements:

Shoulder seam to shoulder seam - 16.5”
Underarm to underarm - 20.5”
Shoulder seam to cuff- 10"
Total length - 34.5"

I am looking for a similar shirt with long sleeves, white color, and an angel print. Does anyone here offer something like this? If so, please share the brand and price. I am interested in size S, maximum length 60 cm (23.6 inches.)
