        This sucks. It's the exception to the "x designer's womenswear is much better than their menswear" rule (and the latter wasn't so great either). Boring as hell - all looks could be from an Esprit lookbook.

        Can someone also illuminate me as to what is the point of a pre-collection?

                I think this direction is a lot better for the women's collection but I'm having the same problem with it as I did with the men's. It just doesn't feel like Damir to me.

                    i agree with this. women's is much more coherent and distinct than the men's - as if it has been both designed and edited with a clear goal in mind, which i would assume to be both to align it clearly with the esthetics of encens/drira and to build a larger customer base. he has repeatedly spoken of wanting to build a luxury house.

                    too bad the men's wear gets pushed to sidelines as a consequence - i rather liked the men's f/w 2011 collection.
