I think the main difference is that here she didn't pair several of the louder pieces together as she does now. You only see a patchwork jacket with plain trousers, etc., instead of the current shows where the patchwork jacket would have been worn with patchwork pants and a giant hat.

Speaking of patchwork...I still want one of these jackets. Seems the folks selling them on Yahoo know of my intentions and priced their accordingly. :(

It's not just that Dane. First there is no "drama" to the show - it's just a catwalk display, which means there's no narrative. Secondly, it's nice to see some men's clothes that don't seek to address gender issues.
I also looked on Yahoo today, and saw the prices.....

Something about these older shows gives them a more "simple" vibe when it comes to lighting too...I have no idea where this took place, but it looks like it's outside, or naturally lit.

I was hoping to find some of this stuff at the warehouse sale last year...instead of 500 brown blazers in xxl.
