I cant buy from the store in japan larger sizes thats funny lol anyway the reason I wanted a Japanese shop is that I live in Asia and shops selling outside Japan are most of the time Jacked up. Unless someone can show me one...TIA

Pardon the ignorant question, but I'm trying to get a feel for the S/S sizing as apparently people are saying it's a bit boxier this season. There aren't any local retailers that carry the brand so I'll have to rely on a proxy.

I'm around 6'1 and 60kg, though I'm not asian so I have a larger frame and long arms. As a baseline comparison, the best-fitting jacket I have is a perfecto style, which is 17" across the front of the shoulders, 19.5" pit-to-pit and 27" in sleeve length from the shoulders. Any suggestions for what this translates into for Julius?

Also, anyone with personal experience care to comment on the double-zipper fencing jacket (297BLM7)? It's honestly my favorite jacket style of the last few years, but I'm not wild about goat being used for the leather and someone was saying earlier that it seemed to have an inferior feel.

I would say you're about a size 3. I'm slightly smaller than you but wear tops in about 2 - 3 in Julius.

In regards to the fencing leather of ss10, I don't recommend it. I found the leather very stiff and is something you definitely need to try on before purchasing. I say this because if your body doesn't fit the jacket slightly, it will show up clearly because of how stiff and 'boxy' the leather is. Isn't comfortable either...but it could soften up over time. That's my 2 cents...the moto was much much nicer. If you're really interested still in the double zipper fencing, they've produced a cotton version...could try it?
