I find the middle part of the show redeeming the baby outfits. I like the offsetting colors, and I like the coats.

I don't like the baby thing either, especially as shown in the second pic you posted. However, I think the infantile effect comes mostly from the color palette, which is pretty hideous. I'm going to ignore the hands and lumpy textures, because they are simply not original. I'm amazed that Rei would copy so blatantly.

I do like the shapes very much. The long clingy skirts/pants shown with the jackets and tiered tops remind me of old Comme. Very simple and young, which I can appreciate after the last two collections. If she had showed this in a different color scheme, I wouldn't mind it at all.

I think you are right to call her out this time though....there's almost something lazy about this.

BTW, seeing this stuff in person, both womens and mens, confirmed my initial reaction - Rei is out to infantalize her clients. The mens sizes are for children. The womens clothes looks like children's clothes as well. Meh.

Hahahaha :-). You will like the CDG H+ coats, I think. I thought they were very pretty, although I did not like the fact that they are unlined. Let me know what size you can squeeze into.

I love the grey outfit from the catwalk. I like the look of the longer jkt, which might work better for me than the shorter version. But I always want a short jkt, tho:-),

I might beSS, since S is a bit too long on me, like 2 cm or 3, but still:-)

I am fine with unlining. Which coat did you see Faust?

Though I wonder if the bow knit is an homage to Schiaparelli's famous sweater?

I saw both the grey microcheck and the black version, and I liked them both. They just looked so tiny on the hanger, I did not even bother. Barneys had some vests which literally looked like children's sizes.
