I got my girlfriend this ann demeulemeester feather necklace, but it ended up being a completely different color and also pretty huge compared to what I thought. I dont know if it comes in more than one color but the one I received was almost black..

anyway, it was a really nice piece so thought I'd mention it, I just know she wouldn't have preferred the big size.

LOL!! Do it Cas!! I have several Ugo pieces and my wife hates them all. If I like a Ugo piece, she hates it. So those are out. But I like the way you think Laika. I've been trying to think of things to put in it and that scarf and that book look like great choices. It looks like a DVN day for her and she'll have no problems with that. anyway, I try to get thoughtful gifts for everyone and everyone, fail sometimes.

got the wife riding boots and a balenciaga coat. got mom a bluray and all the star trek movies (was a major trekkie). planted a tree for my departed grandmother.

lol, my boyfriend got me that umbrella as a joke. I got obsessed with this ninja game on ps3 last year (it gives me a headache to play it now b/c I am stuck- yes I'm a nerd). I don't use it, it just sits in our umbrella stand and people look at it strangely.

I haven't done ANY xmas shopping. I don't want to do it this year. Shouldn't my mere presence be gift enough?
