If that's permanent, make the best of it, integrate it to your style and most of all don't try to hide it ! Such a change is going to be weird for a while, but be confortable with it and it'll be great.
thanks for all constructive posts. It feels a little lighter now but i cant hide the fact that i am very frightened cause this has physical consequenses too. my limbs are starting to numb and im going to get progressivly slower and less energic as this progresses.
The hardest part is the fact that this reacton is so rare that no doctors know anything about it.... but it has happened before people have sued the company behind rogaine for millions but that is not longer an option as rogaine have placed "hidden" warnings in some documents that most people dont read before using the product
i know this really doesnt belong in this forum but i felt i had to write about it somewhere....

I've tried doing primary literature search on what you're been told is happening and I've been coming up totally empty. Especially in regards to long term total body hair loss as a reaction to single/minimal exposure to Minoxidil.
If as you say no physicians know about it, who diagnosed you? Who told you what you have in store for you and who told you it would be permanent? I'm asking because I'm more inclined to believe that what you're going through is less severe and less permanent that what you may have been told (ie- a good thing for you).

i dont find bald men especially attractive but i find once you stop being a teenager its something i almost wouldn't notice as long as the person carried themselves relatively normally. i briefly met Marc from julius once and it never really factored in. its funny whats considered attractive vs. ones own self conscious; i have a bit of 'junk in the trunk' by european caucasian women standards and its not my favorite thing in the world but its never been a problem for men aha.

Odds that this is permanent are extremely low
Odds that your diagnosis is correct are extremely low
Odds that the doctor will do better are good, although I'd see more than one.

If he's doing that, then he wont have time for diagnosis
“You know,” he says, with a resilient smile, “it is a hard world for poets.”

Case closed. You're keeping all your hair my friend. No ridiculous allergic reaction or something giving you wrinkles etc etc. You're going to be fine. Next time consult a MD and not some bizarre forum where people cannot even spell Pfizer correctly. Places like that won't help you and only serve to freak you out.
