That's a tough one...when it comes to percentage sales, they're based on the idea that the best stuff is going to be sold early before the prices drop too low.
Sometimes what sales at 20% off would never be around at 40% off and so on.
As you wait for prices to drop, the selection gets much thinner and the best stuff generally isn't left.
I guess the main question is is there any guarantee that if you wouldn't have purchased the jacket at 30%, would it have still been around when items went to 40%?
I could see if there was a sale introduced after you paid full price but beyond that, I'm not sure if there is a 'right' or 'wrong' to be honest.
