I believe a lot of them were washed, but they were pretty jet black. Maybe hard to find a used one that hasn't been worn out.

Hi Faust, If I was looking for a Julius to fit my 125lb 5.4ft frame which one do you think would look good & I do like RO as looking at a RU 14F2760 that I like but thinking the arm length and total length might make me look shorter, So my question is what tis the shortest RO or do you think Julius is the way to go since I'm only 5ft.4. Julius rider jackets are great. RO jackets with ribbed cuff sleeves, so you can bunch them up. Otherwise, you'll need to find a good tailor to shorten the sleeve from the shoulder.

nuke is good quality, sturdy, you wont see any destroyed deerskin or cashmere blends tho, more heavy duty synthetic materials, waterproof stuff, etc. ykk zips on the older models, riri on some of the newer ones. lots of jeans and graphic tees too but dont own any of those

Interesting. How do you find such pieces? I imagine searching "NUKE" or the related Japanese phrase wouldn't bring up much on Yahoo Auctions?

julius... especially on the older models, more interesting designs, leather is at least as good, arguably better quality, and the price... you can pick something like this up on yahoo jp for 300$, theres really no contest. rick has done some nice leathers sure but 90% of the jackets i see each season are the same boxy, boring intarsia cut, boring textureless leather, 1000$ price tag used

Cloth Works for Undead gasoline model? Anyhow old Julius (pre Thieves) always interested me but the sizing is wonky as all hell. I'm interested in what Nuke's quality was like, too.

The issue with earlier julius is the small sizing. I have a 4 that fits perfectly from 08, but it is near impossible to find earlier stuff that fits.
