    Culture in Different country.

    Hello,
I am starting this thread to know about different fashion in different country. Here I am introducing my country fashion. My country is Bangladesh. Our fashion I based on village culture. Here female are usually wear "sari" and boys are find them fashionable with "Panjabi or Lungi". yet I am confused that starting this thread is either right or wrong for me

The US. Were I live fashion is next to not existent. For most part hollister/A&F stuff. Guess and Express are considered semi or high end. We have 2 'boutiques' one is mostly filled with lacoste, TR, Boss, and Ed Hardy. The other one has J brand, and citizens i ddk what else I've never been there.

Introducing formal Denmark. We don't have national suit or anything like it atleast not that I know of (they have in Greenland which is a part of Denmark but you would never see anyone wear it public here in Copenhagen). Denmark and Scandinavia in general is very formal most often with a white or lightblue shirt. We also have those brands such as Lacoste and Ed Hardy - Christian Audigier which is kind of looked at as "high class badass". In my opinion it just look like someone vommited a whole lot of glitter and colors on top of a black t-shirt, but that might just be me.
Not sure if there is a whole lot interesting to say. Girls at my age (21~) often tend to be very 'hippie-like' in the sense that vintage and secondhand is like superb. Nothing wrong with it really, but it do become interesting when everyone want to be individual in the same way ^^

Sweden is a lot like Denmark except perhaps danish design is a tad more elaborate and imo more interesting. For guys its all about jumping on the latest trend and fit in with the rest of the crowd. Having a long history of socialism and a mentality that we are all equal means people dont really wanna stand out. Fashion for men in sweden is actually similar to a boys sports locker room. Its all about being on the team.

For girls its a little bit different. Personal style is encouraged but at the same time the girls all read the same mags, blogs etc so talking fashion with a swedish fashionista is quite boring. She will know all about Loboutin and Choo but nothing about Bui or Alaia, because the press tend to focus on certain international brands.

Having said that, I still think swedish people in general dress well and it is quite funny to hear friends who studied in U.S and Canada teling me how guys over there thought they were gay because they wore skinny jeans.

              UK

I find the UK is largely polarized. Most people, especially the young, seem to spend little attention at all to their dress. Others I see are immaculately dressed. Usually older city types. Too conservative for me but I can appreciate it.

Maybe better to explain/discuss the cities we're living in, rather than the country in general. or both...

bump, I am curious, as there hasn't been posted for +/- 3 years.

In NYC, we like kale. In Chicago, they don't. Paging Fuuma for an opportunity to rage at white middle aged male hipsters and shit.

I've never lived in a big city, but my town in North Carolina has a LOT of moneyed transplants and old-money southerners who feign the bourgeois. You can get quality things here, especially furniture, but things of the SZ aesthetic are really, really rare. Teenagers like to take the hipster route, and old folk are very keen on the Brooks Brothers/Tory Burch route. My sweeping black ensembles are not, shall we say, relevant here, and even my eyeglasses, which are Valentino (don't harsh on me, please) are considered EXTREMELY edgy. I saw a woman carrying a Celine bag last weekend at work, and the whole restaurant was gawking. She tapped me and asked about my shoes, the closest moment I'd ever had to the SZ experience. They were my 2011 Demeulemeester wedges, and the darling woman carrying the Celine looked like she had just stepped from the Advanced Style blog.

We feed our livestock kale, unless you count the gastronomy of the Whole Foods set. We eat Collard Greens here, and drive white Mercedes to Country Club. Tobacco Barons send their kids to Duke.

Great music you have over there. None of these musicians dresses remotely like people here. If one thing is related to the other, I hope you never find "fashion".

Well, I live in Rio de Janeiro.
The style here is very summery, all over the year. Actually, it's rare to feel really cold here, so the outfit is generally very short. I would call it Miami style, with less shiny stuff.
And above all, flower print dictate the rules for girls and tees with cargo shorts and gym sneakers are the must have for boys. We also have a very strong hipster scene, but when it comes to fashion, even for this group, everything is very dull.

BMX bikes typically come with a single gear, but there are also bikes with multiple gears available. Single-speed bikes are the most common on BMX bikes, and they offer simple and reliable performance. Multiple gears are more common on race bikes, where riders need to quickly shift gears to maintain speed. Consider your riding style and preferences when choosing the gearing. https://bmxbikeshub.com/best-bmx-bikes/
